- education & engagement - We continue to invest in our employees’ future, providing them with opportunities for learning and advancement. We are currently sponsoring four employees education goals as they work towards their chosen degrees. We advocate for employees to seek out options for external learning such as webinars, external trainings, classes, conferences, and other educational resources. In addition to external sources, we provide internal learning experiences such as cross-divisional training and classes showcasing different aspects of the company, leadership training, collaborative discussions, and sustainability training. Educational opportunities are also extended to employee’s children. We offer an opportunity to be selected for a scholarship to incoming college freshman that are children of full-time Roy Farms employees. In addition to empowering employees through education, we encourage community building among our employees. We urge them to get to know each other through social gatherings. We try to shape communal environment by organizing social functions like barbecues, picnics, and parties. PAGE 42
