Everybody is excited for the upcoming blueberry harvest… even the Washington Ground Squirrel.  Even though it is listed as endangered in Oregon they are anything but in our neighborhood.  Upon first glance they are rather cute and one might even think about a potential pet.  That’s until you see them eating your upcoming fruit and leaves off newly planted bushes… Yes, farming is constantly teaching us how to work with mother nature.
