As we harvest our organic hops it appears lady bugs are catching a ride to the farm... They are the most beneficial in our organic toolbox, so we might be giving them a ride back to the field!!

This year the first variety harvested is not what we expected but they are sounding ready… We measure harvest maturity in many ways, but one of the best ways is walking through the fields and getting your hands on them. When hops are mature you can squeeze them and they sound like a baby rattle!
